Call For Artists / Artist Registration

Proud to be one of Saskatoon’s favourites!  With the ‘Award Winning’ success of our last Art in the Park, we’re delighted to bring another fantastic festival to you!   Our theme is Branching Out & in addition to our usual great festival, we’re giving some new things a try, so keep reading for more info!  If you’d like to skip it and just get right to registering,  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.  Please see Artist Set-Up Tips for more information.  We hope you’ll join us for our 17th festival!

We’re looking for Artists, Artisans, and Craftspeople to participate in the annual Caswell arts festival, Art in the Park, on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Ashworth Holmes Park:

Artists! Show and sell your work! As previously, we ask that artists REGISTER IN ADVANCE. New this year, we’re requesting a voluntary contribution to help us keep the festival going. Your support will go towards the operating costs of the festival, including site amenities, permits, porta-potties, hand-wash stations, sound, stage, promotions, and first aid. This contribution is not mandatory, but we ask that you please show your support of the festival by giving what you can. If however you are unable to contribute, we will still welcome you! No one turned away for lack of funds.

This year, Art in the Park falls on the first day of the 2018 Saskatoon Pride Festival, so together with Pride, we’re inviting everyone to celebrate with us! LGBTQ+ artists are also encouraged to show and sell their artwork and proudly display their Pride at their spots!

New! Following our theme Branching Out, we’re adding the possibility for businesses to apply. So, if you’re selling artwork or handcrafted items that you have not made yourself, or have an art-related focus, please let us know how you fit with the festival. If your application is accepted, you will be notified by email and a link will be provided to complete your registration. Upon acceptance, a fee is payable and will be collected at time of registration. Application coming soon!

If you or your group does not fit into one of the above categories and you’ve got a creative & artistic idea or are interested in participating or contributing in some way, we’d like to hear about it.  Please contact us at

Artwork must be handcrafted and suitable for family audiences. Art in the Park supports both emerging & established local artists, celebrating their accomplishments and providing a venue for them to present and/or practice their art in public.
